We’re gearing up for Partnership Academy’s 9 th annual 5K, the Race for our Future, and we’re hoping we can count on your support! Each year, the money we raise from the 5K is invested in our students.

 

In fall of 2018, a new location was secured at 6500 Nicollet Avenue and construction began on a new site that will house preschool through eighth grade beginning in the 2019-2020 school year. Minnesota’s charter schools suffer from inequitable funding practices, which require that we find ways to finance important school needs, educational resources, and professional development opportunities that enhance student learning. We work hard to secure funding to fill this gap through additional revenue sources, including private gifts from individuals who support our school.

 

Our goal is to raise $8,500 for our new playground and you can help us reach it! We are applying for a grant that will provide over 90% of funding for our playground if we are able to fundraise $8,500 through community partner contributions. Our fundraising efforts could be multiplied by more than 100! Every dollar counts and directly benefits the teaching and learning that takes place at Partnership Academy, but ultimately the impact lasts a generation - because what happens in our classrooms today makes all the difference for tomorrow.
