Technology
At Partnership Academy, technology is used intentionally as a tool to support instruction and enhance student learning.
Our Pre-K scholars do not use individual devices such as tablets or Chromebooks, allowing them to focus on hands-on, play-based, and foundational learning experiences.
Scholars in Kindergarten through 2nd grade are provided with 1:1 iPads, while scholars in grades 3–8 are equipped with 1:1 Chromebooks. These devices are utilized to access curriculum materials, complete assignments, conduct research, and engage in approved educational programs aligned to classroom instruction. Devices are used strictly for learning purposes.
To ensure a safe and appropriate digital learning environment, the school utilizes device-monitoring software and additional safeguards to support responsible technology use. All families are required to review and sign the school’s Technology Acceptable Use Policy each year. In addition, families of students in grades 5–8 are asked to submit a $50 device deposit during Welcome Back Night.
Through these measures, Partnership Academy ensures that technology enhances learning while maintaining a safe, secure, and focused environment for all scholars.
